Should schools be closed?

A national lockdown is being put in place from Thursday but schools and universities are remaining open.

Keir Starmer has agreed with this policy despite evidence that opening schools, colleges and universities has contributed significantly to increase in the ‘R’ rate.

In fact, Labour’s policy is to keep schools and universities open – regardless of the ‘R’ rate.
